Many unsung but vital factors contribute to the success of excellent consultants: thorough research; detailed development; precise implementation and professional delivery – Herman is no exception.

All these skills have been grouped to create a powerful approach to mentoring through a new mentoring innovation called RAMP® standing for ‘Raising Achievement Mentoring Programmes’.

Flexible enough to cross the public and private sectors the main goal of RAMP® is to bring the best out of people through coaching and mentoring. Also facilitating aftercare (an essential element to sustained success) this product is for those who are more interested in ‘real change’ that is sustainable than just a quick fix.

But don’t take our word for it. Investigate what the experts, leaders and managers of numerous sectors have to say: Education Watchdog Ofsted cites his brand of mentoring as ‘high quality’ – needless to say that Herman’s peers hold him in high regard.

Personalised Programmes

Following are a few examples of mentoring / coaching programmes that could be developed and personalised for your establishment. To ensure optimum success, it would first be necessary to gather the context and information of the setting where programmes are to be delivered.

All programmes are Every Child Matters focused, covering some if not all five of the outcomes. The key below describes what each outcome is, while each subsequent programme has the key letters to display which outcome they perform.

Re-learn© - ‘Unlearn and re-learn what really matters’

Re-learn is an informal education tool exploring topics like education, careers, relationships, aspirations, sex, peer pressure, drugs, and society by challenging individual’s current perceptions of the aforementioned and how their views may or may not be aiding healthy personal development. Aspire© - ‘Today’s dreams, can become tomorrow’s experience’

Aspire mentoring programme aims to encourage and enable attendants to achieve their ambitions and dreams. Strategic guidance, motivation and affirmation exercises take the delegates on a journey of self-discovery, in short: ‘Helping others to reach beyond themselves’. (A) (P) (E)

F.O.C.U.S©(Focus On Cultivating Ur Success)

Everyone wants to be successful in some way or another, but somehow success does elude many. F.O.C.U.S helps the budding entrepreneur to hone and cultivate those creative problem-solving skills and activating team building and individual skills.

It is a programme that promotes out of the box thinking that has a holistic view of success. (A) (P) (E)

Leaders Forum© - ‘Helping leaders, to lead themselves, so others can follow’

Leaders abound: charismatic; strong; pragmatic; assertive; result driven; possessing characteristics which men and women are compelled to follow. Unfortunately this is not much good if they are leading them in the wrong direction.

The Leaders Forum helps to define positive pro-active leadership skills, their importance, and how to recognise and utilise this gift for the healthy growth of your community, regardless of the potential obstacles. (S) (H) (A) (P)

Helping Hand© - ‘Sharing the journey, sharing the success’

Young people are processing information at an alarmingly fast rate, (being exposed to more of our world than previous generations). As our youth can be a sensitive part of life the societal transitions involved can appear intensified and traumatic for those going from Primary to Secondary school.

This is why Helping Hand was developed, to assist Primary school children how to make that change. It provides a productive and seamless transition by being able to identify and resolve ‘prospective issues’ that could be carried into comprehensive education.

Parent Support Forum

Parents are the most important investor in their child’s educational experience, so would it not make sense to take full advantage in collaborating with parents to help shape their children’s success?

The Parent Support Forum provides that opportunity. Through continual dialogue a parents involvement in their child’s affairs is enriched, enhancing your extended schools model and projected academic results. The combined effort (which Herman has witnessed) does not go un-noticed by the child and also provides an organised and collaborative approach truly desired by many ridding existing loopholes between school and home. “Herman communicated professionally and confidently with staff, students and Parents on all levels”
- Paul Davies Deputy Head teacher College High Specialist School

Creative Writing Workshops “therapeutic, restorative, empowering”

Creative writing enables people to express themselves in a productive way and let others know how they feel. This workshop will facilitate the exploration of personal feelings and thoughts through current issues, aspirations, general knowledge, and specific topics as a subtle, but fun way of self-development.
